RPD’I is a Kuala Lumpur lighting design studio, based in Malaysia, working on architectural & interior lighting consultation since 2007. Founded by Yang Berbahagia Dato’ Ram Kumar with experience over 22 years in the lighting design industry and passionate in lighting.

RPD’I started through our passion for designing, from a humble mid scale studio and now gain competence from our reputable clients to handle and carry out large scale projects local and international.

In our designs, we always try to improve the visual perception and understanding of our environment, to use light as an expensive tool and to bring poetical value, an enhancement and guidance to people.

We also keep in mind the necessity to integrate properly lighting into architecture to fulfil the technical requirements of lighting design and to design made-to-measure luminaires for an added value to projects.

In other words, we look for achieving the most creative lighting design, in term of aesthetic, function, flexibility, maintenance and cost.

Our main responsibility is to create the environment of the highest quality for the users whilst continuously looking for equipment reducing the energy consumption as far as possible

Yang Berbahagia Dato’ Ram Kumar has been actively involved in the lighting design and construction industry for the past 22 year of experience, he has adopt hand-on approach in managing every aspect of the operation and business strategies.

He shows his passion for new and vibrant design through his project which he monitors and manage himself.

Yang Berbahagia Datin Pusparani @ Jenny Ram has accumulated over 20 years of experience in the financial, legal and interior fit out sectors in the construction industry.

Well versed in every aspect of Financial Planning and controlling of multi-million ringgit companies,she is principally in charge of RP Group of companies finance and operations.

She also manage the Human Resources Department.
